Stop arguing over who does what.
Let our household workload optimizer calculate the plan.
Turn your chores, household members, available time, and task effort into a practical household workload plan. Powered by a capacity-aware optimizer, ChoreMatrix replaces guesswork and daily negotiations with transparent, fair schedules.

Why ChoreMatrix is Different from a Basic Chore Chart
Generic checklist apps only record who checked off a box. ChoreMatrix actively solves the workload allocation puzzle using three deterministic capabilities:
Quantified Fairness Index
What it measures: A 0–100 mathematical score representing how evenly workload utilization is spread across household members relative to their capacity.
Scope: It measures proportional time and effort balance — not subjective emotional satisfaction. A score near 100 indicates balanced distribution; lower scores highlight bottleneck constraints or capacity deficits.
Two Workload Modes
Capacity-Aware (Proportional): Chores scale to each person's available weekly hours (e.g., 300 min vs 120 min) so busier members carry less work.
Equal Workload (Flatten Minutes): Divides task minutes evenly among all members regardless of schedule differences — ideal for flatmates sharing equal rent and duties.
Explainable Assignments
Transparent rationale: Every task in the schedule displays why it was slotted — such as only eligible member, preferred task match, proportional capacity fit, or preferred day alignment.
No black boxes: Understanding why someone received a task prevents household conflict and clarifies trade-offs immediately.
